The Saundersfoot New Year’s Day Swim is an inclusive, community event to support organisations and charities with a emphasis on local communities.
The New Year’s Day Swim started in 1984 with 10 swimmers and in 2024, this grew to over 2,500 people going in the sea with an estimated crowd of 9000 spectators.
The swim has developed into an incredible spectacle and is classed by Pembrokeshire County Council as a major event. It is also the biggest festive dip in the UK and to date has raised over £775k for charities.
This event can only happen with the support from event sponsors, event partners, volunteers and brave people going for a chilly dip on New Year’s Day.
Take part and fundraise for your own cause or simply turn up on the day and offer support!
